sock it up

i admit that i've been quite a socks freak lately. since the first breeze of autumn i've been socks hunting almost every week,  every length every color, for the first time in my life i even got a clash of neon colors in the closet. matching nudes and neons is surprisingly 'not-weird' on me.
i was never a socks person, unless when wearing boots/ sneakers and i always pick ankle socks.
now i can't leave the door with only a pair of wedges/heels on my feet.

trust me once you get started you can never stop. and the next will be gloves hunting, you have no idea how much you'd treasure these mere few months in Hong Kong when you can be layering up.

Don't you just love the color clashing here (Prada AW07-8)

I blame Christopher Bailey/Burberry prorsum & Prada for the extra socks drawer i am cleaning out for.

despite the fact that my wardrobe is a plain sight of mono and nude,
i love colors except on myself.
and Mika Ninagawa is definitely one of the best whom know how colors work.

the platinum and the noir

i find myself often drawn to the most extreme hair colors; the platinum blonde and the richest dark hair.
i didnt pay much of attention about Abbey Lee until she shown up at the Chanel Soho opening with her
platinum blonde hair and bleached eyebrows, porcelain pale skin and the deep red lips,
since then i have this major crush on her.
on the other hand vampy pale skin and deep dark hair always seem enchanting especially when it comes with
a pair of piercing eyes. sadly being an asian, platinum blonde and vampy pale skin are the two things i'll never have, oh and talk about the bubblegum hairs i was dying to give it a try. ( i've tried the most excruciating bleach to murder my hair and the lightest it went was still a hideous tone of blonde with a heavy hint of yellow, eww. ) so instead of reaching for the stars here goes some of my favorite hair moment.
