The story started with my previous post saying that the sales associate at Lane Crawford told me
they just sold the last piece of the Triwa Nevil Raven Black at their branch, ended when the boyfriend
called and say he spot it sitting at a different Lane Crawford, with 30% off. Life is good. So now I am
wearing my trusty watch and the 'Peridot' nail varnish by Chanel, which has been my staple nail polish
whenever i feel like im wearing too plain.
(i.e. waken up too late in morning & too sleepy to pick a outfit kind of all-black-im-boring-outfit.)
and again, when you have a color like Peridot you'd need an everyday color to cover the days
you're not wearing it, hence i got 'Jade Rose'. I have to guarantee you if you are asian,
without the gorgeous olive/ pale skintone, YOU NEED TO HAVE JADE ROSE IN YOUR COLLECTION,
it isn't as chic/ eye-catching as Peridot but it just makes my hand looks soooo pretty & clean.
I have always been a fan of OPI/Essie nail polishes and find it unnecessary to collect Chanel nail varnishes
considering it's 3 times more expensive and OPI/Essie are just as good in quality.
But im now all on board and smitten... i still want the 'Dragon' but i know i need to stop,
not when we are about to move to a new apartment in just a few months.
By the way if you have the less 'asian' skintone i've just said, 'Innattendu' is another must-have option.
I went for 'Jade Rose' because 'Innattendu' is more on the beige side and
it really picks up on the yellowness on my skin.
