Miranda Kerr by Greg Kadel

my first thought was 'wow she looks so much like Miranda aka the Victoria's Secret Bombshell'

Ann-Sofie Back

I have always been a huge fan of Alexander Wang ever since his debut, and my favorite to-go basics have always been the T by Alexander Wang in my closet. But lately I am slowly shifting on to Ann-Sofie Back, the creative director of Cheap Monday. There's no doubt that Ann-Sofie Back can do effortlessly chic wearable outfits. Especially when the mainline of Wang is so not affordable for me and after few seasons of T By it's reasonable that you find the on season pieces are kind of reminiscent to those you already have.

Here's the Spring 2012 RTW of Ann-Sofie Back, definitely adore the navy draping shorts.

hair

I have always been high-medium maintenance with my hair, when i had long hair down to my waist
I used to spend 20mins every morning to blow dry/ style it. And when I had short hair, I spent 4 hours
every month at salon trying to get the ashy light brown color of Freja Beha Enrichsen.
(Of course after 5 bleaches in 6 months I gave in and dye it jet black again..)

But ever since my hair grew longer again and the 5 bleaches I had turned into the ideal Ombre hair
that I always wanted, surprisingly I became quite a minimum low maintenance with hair. I hardly
ever style my hair and the flat iron & curler are deep down somewhere in the closet. every morning
I spray a little bit of the surf spray on and tie my hair into different kind of pony tails.
All the time I spend on my hair is now the massive hair de-tangling spray & serum I put on after
I wash my hair... they are practically Barbie's hair after all the bleaches.

I am all about pony tails & braiding now.. AND THE METAL HAIR THING.. I WANT THAT!
I searched for it on ASOS Forever21 Topshop Urban Outfitters and still couldn't find it.. some says
H&M got a similar one but all I found was the rose gold clip I wore :(

and my hair now.

Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver.

being able to justify myself buying a pair of little red wedge that I would never wear is the main reason that I am contemplating of this as a Halloween costume. I know.. so not Halloween and definitely not me. but hello it's Halloween?
okay maybe not that hair... not with me.

Denim.

as I was contemplating of what to do for my 'monday ramble',
i went to the most cliche way-
why not a piece of my favorite denim outfits whilst i'm wearing denim on denim today?
there you go :) oh and in case you're wondering.. i am wearing my urban renewal denim skirts pairing with the boyfriend's denim shirt, with my Alexander Wang loafers. I hope i'll remember to take a picture of it when i got home tonight.. I hope.

the day is coming

the little project I've been so excited about has made another step, just hoping it'd really happen!
I guess the above gave a quite obvious hint? :)

sorry for the lack of credits, i got these images from everywhere.
i remember the second image comes from Yvan Rodic's visual diary though.

bisous,
ashley

it has been a really long time since my last blog post, i am trying to get back on track with my blogging.. I have to be honest it's because of this little project I am crossing my fingers that I could be launching in November, but still I am trying to keep this a habit- hopefully.
i have been tumblr-ing a lot though HERE

Lately I have been all about the minimalist vibe, got quite a number of outfit which i will try to take some decent photos later on.. (the boyfriend has started to have words about my constant hauling. I have grown from occupying 3/4 of the closet room to adding another rack in the bedroom...) anyway i got this hair clip yesterday night at H&M, which is indeed rose gold. I have been doing a lot to hair, started playing with braids and nonetheless  I finally did the ombre hair, on my already fried hair. I love it but my mom hated it oh so much, she's been mumbling about my hair like I am a teenager again.

Last but not least, here's Mermaid & Bambi

feeling good and keep it coming.

guess part of the reason i love fashion blogging is that i love
looking at my blog/ collection of fashion photography/ inspiration.
it is not original at all but i reckon it speaks for me as for who i am quite a bit.
P.S i am trying so hard to organize thousands of photos on my computer and clueless- suggestions?
slightly moving into a "mid twenties crisis", i guess it's bigger than mid life crisis
cause you still (probably) have many decades coming on
and many decades to be messed up if you mess it up now.

i don't really care about doing nothing but i do mind doing nothing in a boring way.

monday ramble

spent a whole week trying to looking for a pair of flats/boots that i like,
there's one pair i absolutely adore and that's the pair nasty gal decided to not be re-stocking.
apart from my aching ankle i do prefer platform heels.
they almost look gorgeous by default and so easy to spot a pair that i love.

oh and i just got the perfect royal blue nail polish from OPI
and i need some metallic gold tip to go with it.
i love that new york was freezing during NYFW,
all those snapshot gave me so much inspiration of how to layer up
in this (relatively) freezing winter in Hong Kong.
